The Language of Objects – Material Culture in the Context of Social Developments: With this funding, the BMBF supports research projects which study objects in its ciultural and social contexts along the lines of the material culture studies. The projects analyze objects of different kinds, how they are involved in the creation of meaning and as materializations of social practises.
